Designer – Creative Problem Solver
Hello there and thank you for visiting my website. I graduated from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver Colorado with a BFA in 2015. I have also studied front end web development at General Assembly in Boston Mass. I have about six years of experience working as a Designer in Denver and Boston. I have worked for ad agencies, museums, tech companies and other clients/employers. I would love to tell you my story sometime over coffee or lunch. I am interested in all things graphic design and art direction. I am now located in Denver and working full time for the Denver Art Museum.
Denver Art Museum
2020 – Current
I am currently employed at the Denver Art Museum as a graphic designer. I work with a talented team supporting marketing and communications with in house requests for design work. I work on signage, advertising and all things graphic design. I love my job and I am always looking for new ways to impact the world in a positive way through creativity.
2019 – 2020
I worked for Jobcase Inc. which is a tech company in Kendall Square Cambridge near MIT. I created digital ads for the marketing team and worked on website redesign projects. I began as a full time employee but recently relocated back to Denver.
I was a temporary freelancer at Tamr Inc. which is a tech company based in Harvard Square that manages big data for large companies. I created digital ads for the marketing team and worked on presentation decks as well as white papers and ebooks.
Craft Worldwide Boston
2018 – 2019
I worked at Craft Worldwide Boston as a digital designer in the end of 2018 and into the 2019 new year. I worked on digital content for the web such as banners and email campaigns for Staples. I did a lot of projects in a very short amount of time while employed there and learned a lot about improving my efficiency as a designer.
2016 – 2018
At BravoEchoInc I worked on a lot of motion graphics, print projects, email campaigns and digital asset creation. I did a lot of production work there as well as internal design. I built some good relationships there and had some good times. I learned a lot about being a creative professional and I was treated well.
2015 – 2016
At wigwam I worked on branding projects, type and layout and as well as web design. A creative director I invited to my graduate show at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design hired me. I enjoyed working there because the projects had a lot of creative flexibility. I moved on to make more money and diversify my experiences.
Colorado History Museum
2014 & 2018
I worked for the Colorado History Museum as a freelance during my junior year of my undergraduate degree. During that time I designed the print elements for a Rocky Mountain National Park exhibit. I worked with the museum again in 2108 to design another exhibit featuring the history of American baseball.
Graphic Design Intern
I worked for the Denver Zoo as a design intern while I was working on my bachelors degree. I worked in the planning department updating signage and presenting layout ideas for new exhibits. I sharpened my photoshop skills here quite a bit making animal ID signage. I really enjoyed working there and I’m glad I had the opportunity.
